METAL FAIRY- COPAL FIBULA

Fibulae were used by Romans to hold their cloaks closed - like a giant decorated safety pin. You can use them same way today on a coat or sweater for decoration or to hold a knitted scarf closed.

Copal or ‘young amber’ with a lovely crackled interior  is paired with tigers eye beads and copper and silver beads on a copper woven head pin.
